So many people are looking for delicious, indulgent dishes but want to eat healthy. Pasta is a guilty pleasure for so many of us, so sticking to a lower carb diet plan, or those of us who need to stick to a gluten free lifestyle have so much less options.

So, when I was asked if I would like to try out the newest kitchen gadget – the Veggetti –  I was more than thrilled to see if turning veggies into pasta would work for us.

Its so easy to use – nice and sturdy – I was able to twist a zucchini with ease. It was no time at all before I had a mound of fresh zucchini noodles piled high before me.

Its just as easy to clean – it washed up in no time – its nice and compact, so your hubby can’t give you any flack about adding another kitchen tool to your ever expanding collection!

The Veggetti comes with a booklet of recipes to inspire you, but truly, the sky is the limit.

I took my beautiful noodles and tossed them in a saute pan with some garlic and butter – it only took 3 to 5 minutes to achieve an al dente texture – then finished them off with a bit of Parmesan.

A huge, satisfying plate full of deliciousness that took less than 15 minutes from fridge to fork!

Totally twirl-able on a fork, complete addicting – and good for you!

You can add your favorite tomato sauce, Alfredo, pesto, anything you’d like. Why stop there? Toss then with sir fried veggies in place of lo mein noodles, slice up some potatoes and make your own hash-brown patties. The possibilities are endless. The only thing in common is the ease factor. You will be so proud to feed your family tons of healthy veggies that they will love. I know I am!
